Sandy Burkhardt
Director
Sandy came to Christ during the Jesus Movement in 1970. After graduating from high school in 1975 she jumped headfirst into ministry as a missionary in Haiti, Mexico, and Colombia. She studied Spanish in Costa Rica. She was led to Bible college at Christ For The Nations in Dallas, Texas, and was more equipped for future ministry. She served in youth ministry and eventually met her husband, Bill. After having children, Sandy finished her undergraduate and graduate degree in Biblical Studies. Bill and Sandy homeschooled their children for nearly a decade.
For the past 36 years, Sandy Burkhardt and Bill have been married and continue serving together in teaching, pastoral ministry, and missions. In 2017 Bill and Sandy merged their church with Beach Chapel where they now serve as Associate Pastors.
Sandy and Bill have two children, their son Tim and his wife Minah, and their daughter Betsy and her husband David, and two of the most incredible grandchildren God has ever created! Now the next generation is homeschooling more amazing world changers!
Ellen Semple
Administrator
Ellen Semple is a twenty-year homeschool veteran. After graduating from Georgetown University with a degree in mathematics, she found a personal relationship with Christ through her husband, Keith. Together they homeschooled their four children, graduating three, and are continuing to homeschool their fourth.
Ellen has held a variety of roles in homeschool organizations through the years, both administrative and teaching. She has a passion to see families made whole and to see children walking in the full destiny they were created for.

Lynette Lisk carries over 13 years of homeschooling wisdom and experience in various forms. She has served as a Co-op Coordinator, teacher, and most importantly a friend to fellow homeschool parents. Her desire is to partner with God and people in building healthy families and communities while holding Biblical values and navigating the world we live in. That said, she brings purpose in affecting and influencing from a victorious heavenly perspective in all areas of her own life as well as the lives of others.
Lynette lives in Sorrento Valley with her husband D of 18 years and their three teenage daughters. They call Beach Chapel home where she serves on the Prophetic Team, Ministry Team and helps host events and conferences. Whether she is on the go or slowing down you'll usually see her with people connecting over conversations and coffee.
